Basic common stuff. They won't be able to access probably mass chat so everyone sees what they are saying. And of course no access to auction house, but at least you can make your own player shops. (which will be far worse once flooded with people)

For details I'd recommend to visit the "free-to-play model" -> "feature details" section. In my opinion they are very informative and detailed.

Er, Jef, you might want to re-read that press release. The website has Veteran members on the same CD lengths as free players, which sucks. And there's no increased PvP award; that comes with gold.

And whatever PvP Coin is I don't know.

The Gold Pack is essentially the full game, period, like we have now. It also includes 20% more AP, 20more courage insigs per Arena, extra XP etc etc.

"PvP medals" are very likely referring to silver, gold and platinum medal rewards from the also mentioned sieges.

Unless this reduced access isn't limited to lower levels just to prevent exploitation from RMT services and botter then and harms gameplay instead, Gameforge has already has wasted all potential of the game.

I would speculate that this just means its only a matter of time before Aion turns f2p for us Colonials in America.

@Space Cobra when/if this side of the pond goes 'free', which I expect it will, I hope they go with the Lineage II model instead of the City of Heroes model, which is what the European version is looking like. The Guild Wars model would be even better.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but as the F2P switch will be done with the current 2.7, that means no 3.0 for the west until sometime after Feb. So much for NCSoft's financial conferences saying the west would get 3.0 by the end of this year, not that I believed them anyway.

It would also be nice if they give current sub players some goodies based on how long you've be subbed, like some nice mounts for free, but knowing NCWest they'll probably punish current players instead.

@Yarr Eeee... NCSoft NEVER said that 3.0 will be at the end of 2011 in NA/EU, they said it will be before end of 2011 in KOREA and it was added to Koreans servers one or two months ago.

So first find true info, before QQ in public. ;)
