Try the Eligium closed beta this weekend exclusively through Massively

Frogster has been gearing up for the closed beta testing of Eligium for quite a while now. We mentioned before that closed beta will officially begin on the 19th, but there's an early testing period that runs from now until this Sunday, December 18th. Only the most wise and discerning gamers will be permitted to join the early testing period: namely, Massively readers.

Frogster has arranged for exclusive early access for players via Massively. Simply register for the beta using this link. After doing so, you'll be able to download the game. Can't get enough Eligium after your early access weekend? Keep an eye on Massively Monday -- we might just have something extra for you.

In the meantime, enjoy your exclusive weekend testing period!

So does anyone know if this game is very pvp forced or pvp optional with monster killing?

For anyone wondering about the game, the FAQ was actually kind of illuminating. Had no idea it was skill based.

There doesn't appear to be a strafing option in this game, unless I'm overlooking it. A real shame considering the game looked kind of interesting, I just can't play click-to-move style games.

@Plastic There is WSAD movement, it's not all clicking, that's just an option.

Also, it says in all of the emails and on the page, "With a bit of luck, you’ll receive your personal beta access details in an email within a few weeks."

I hope they just haven't updated their script. Otherwise this is one of those "beta keys" that just gives you a chance to be in the beta...

yea seems to be the same situation with me, unable to log in with account created but also never received a beta key

I just got an email with the details. I guess I wasn't patient enough! Looks legit!

It seems you have to have a character already at level 60 to make a Panda Fighter. That got rid of most of my enthusiasm, but I still plan to give it a try. And for anyone having login problems, be sure to check the confirmation email. The account name and password won't be what you selected, they're using randomized ones for this trial apparently.

Hey guys i can't get my beta access stuff to work is there a certain server I have to do this on because I got my beta info account name and pass word but it keeps saying its wrong

So...based on the video it looks like a WoW-clone had a baby with a Diablo-clone...

Is this for anyone that has a account on this website? I haven't received anything in my mail yet.

i registered by the link and then as soon as I installed the game I got my beta name and pass word but yet when i try to use it I keep getting a wrong password.

also do i need to install the german version?
