@tooright

Agreed. I'm openly a fan of Star Trek Online, but it's all about SWTOR for the next while.

Hmm. For someone that has little interest in the game you sure took the time to come in and leave your "lack of interest." The game is much better now. I, a proud trekkie disliked the initial release. The new additions in Season 5 really bring the game together. Actually made me decide to finally get the lifetime subscription.

But anyway. Many people will be happy about this. The duty officer feature allows even new characters to level very fast and obtain very rare loot that is only obtainable through a few ways.

But anyway. Thanks for your opinion.

It is so tempting to subscribe right now to bridge that month before the f2p transition, with things like this sweetening the deal.

@Randomessa If you know someone with an account, you can have them send you a referral invite. It's pretty much a f2p early invite as far as I can tell.

I guess I can come back and give it a try before my TOR invite arrives. Man, Bioware is sure taking it's sweet time. I pre-ordered a while back and still no invite.

Now I just need to go find my DVD's to re-install this.

It was a pretty cool game, and I hear they made a lot of changes. I also don't recall why I stopped playing this. I'm a huge Trekkie anyway.
