I would hope one of their special projects under way would be to allow everyone who bought the game to get in and play it.

@jimr9999us Good news, there's an early access program underway right now to make sure that everyone who purchased the game will be able to get in on launch day with minimal queues and server lag.

@jimr9999us It's funny. I haven't actually paid for the game yet, but they're letting me play anyway. Nice of them, isn't it?

@Spacegrass

Gonna ditto that one, expansion of all things "space" should be a priority for Bioware.

@jealouspirate Probably not. When previously talking about the rail shooter they talked about adding in "choose your own adventure" paths for the rails. Still on rails... you just get to pick with badly piloted path you have to spam fire.

@Spacegrass I think that would be awesome, something along the lines of SW: Battlefront 2 space combat maybe, I thought that game was pretty fun, two cruisers fighting while launching players from the hangar into combat, to see who can take down the other cruiser first.

So has anyone heard about "where" the server locations are physically? I'm not talking about the 'software set time zones". I recall years ago when I started WoW, I did what I assume most players do. That is choose to play on a server that I thought was in my time zone based on the server info.

Problem was, the server cluster(battlegroup) was actually in Boston, so I had crappy latency. That server cluster btw now is in New York since Blizzard moved all those servers there and all the servers in Seattle to Phoenix.

Anyhow as I do like pvp, I also like low latency, so I am hoping to find 'where" the shard clusters are physically located and a name list so I can choose a server with that in mind.

Are they still not offering a grace period on launch day? Just went to gamestop and threw down the rest I owed for the CE, and told the employee I'll see ya at midnight on launch day and he said gamestop decided not to do a midnight release anywhere because they recieved cancelled preorders because people didn't know it was for the pc. He could be totally lying to me since he was the one that told me they were having a midnight release and they changed their minds.

But anyways, since they are not offering a midnight release and if BW doesn't offer a grace period, i'm looking at being locked out until gamestop opens in the morning.

@(Unverified) Your first mistake was trusting a Gamestop employee.

There is no way Gamestop is not doing a midnight. The preoders on this game are massive. I'd say double check with your store, and if not, call the gamestop 10 miles down the road and move your preorder there.

@Beltyra

While I agree with you to not trust a Gamestop employee, it was the store manager that told me about the change of them not doing midnight release. Trust me, I already plan on calling their customer service/coporate about them making the change after confirming with me that they would have midnight release. I'm actually not upset with the store employees, but more of the distract manager for telling them to not have a midnight release.

Btw, i'm pretty sure it is too late to transfer the preorder to another store since shipments are set to go out to the stores in a day or two. But as far as alot of people cancelling their preorders because they thought it was for consoles, I don't buy that one bit. They were probably told to give that excuse to justify the change.

I do know, they just lost a customer that will drive out of my way to preorder/purchase games elsewhere.

Your main mistake was going to Gamestop in the first place.

Until my dying day, I'll never walk into Gamestop for anything besides to renew my "Game Informer" subscription...thats about all they're really good for.

Next time, Amazon it.

@(Unverified) People didn't know a highly anticipated MMO was for the PC...damn... I thought that would be common knowledge among anyone interested enough to pre order lol

Funny you should say that about people not knowing it was for pc. That is the first thing she said to me when I told her what Gamestops excuse was and she hates video games.
