Aeria Games has released a batch of new screenshots to whet your appetite for its forthcoming Lime Odyssey: The Chronicles of Orta MMORPG. The images were captured during recent alpha testing, and they represent a good cross-section of character styles, environments, and action shots.
Aeria says that the game, currently being developed in Korea, boasts an array of desirable features "including a dual class system, pets, mounts, farming, extensive crafting, inspired 3D visuals, and an imaginative, colorfully-rendered continent filled with whimsical beasts."
While there's currently no firm release date, Aeria expects to release Lime Odyssey to English-speaking markets in early 2012.

The real question is:
Can one grow virtual Limes in the game and can someone use this important ingredient in crafting recipes...or in-game margaritas?

1. Generic bland name: check.
2. The same super-deformed anime character styles we've seen since 2004: check
3. Pets and mounts, because they are the easiest thing to monetize in a F2P game: check.
4. Brought to the states by Aeria games (motto: we rip you off less than Gpotato does!): check.
5. Will have at least one $25 or more cash shop item: check.
6. Despite all of the above, will last 4-5 years because it costs little to maintain it, and there are always some people who will pay money in games like these: double check.
Happy happy. joy joy.

always amused when people act like their opinion is THE opinion and nothing else matters /giggle

This game actually has a development crew with a lot of experience and success behind it.
Even the music for it has received good press.
I am excited to try it out and disheartened to see that it is only in Alpha.

@Dblade As Pingles and ClassicCrime said, this game has a good dev crew with experience and the music is nothing short of amazing.
Being an Alpha player, I found the game to be a killer, pets and mounts are easy to obtain without spending real money, and its an F2P, if you expect a game to be totally free, well welcome to the real world.
As for a generic name, if you were to play and actually take note to the story behind the entire game, you'll see that its a very rich and interesting story, and the name is most fitting. Please try a game before making it seem generic and terrible.
