With 15 days to go before Star Wars: The Old Republic's launch, it doesn't seem like there's much time to get everything stocked and ready before the year's biggest release happens. Fortunately, BioWare's helping us to run down the preparation list with a series of informative forum posts.
First on the list is to make sure that SWTOR players have the latest version of the client installed on their computers. BioWare says that if you played the game prior to November 25th, you'll probably need to install a completely new client; if you played since, you should be good. There are instructions on the forums as to how you can check which version you have.
Pre-orders are wondering about early access, which BioWare says is the same between the three editions of the game -- it only matters when you added your pre-order code, not which edition you purchased. More information about the early access program is coming later this week.
Finally, BioWare is preparing to make major changes to SWTOR's forums following a December 10th outage, during which all posts and PMs will be erased (as will infractions!). New forums, including those covering crew skills, story, lore and PvP, will be added, and guild forums will be expanded significantly. Those just starting to learn about the game will appreciate the new player help forum and community blog that's coming with the update.

No, the login server is offline.
All it means is if you installed the testing client any time after Nov 25th you should be fine to just patch your install for launch.
This is in response to the email many people got telling them to uninstall prior to launch.
If you already uninstalled the game you're out of luck until headstart/launch day gets here.

The nov 25 reference was to the latest beta build. If you had the latest beta build all you had to do was patch and play the last (two) betas.
The beta client will still need to be deleted as it is not compatible with the live build per recent dev post.
Additional RUMOR.
Some folks stating emails from distributors saying that they will be sending boxes out so you recieve product a couple days before launch, whether these are true or not have not been confirmed or denied by the devs.

I love my current MMO to death, I can't help but feel like I am plotting an elaborate affair and secret rendezvous with SWToR.

@(Unverified) I know what you mean SWTOR is like that super hot slightly crazy chick that keeps calling you to tell you how lonely she is...you know your going to wake up in her bed and you know you're going to hate yourself for betraying your girl but there just isn't much you can do to stop it.

I dunno about you guys, but the client is available for DL at http://www.swtor.com/tester
Obviously, if you didn't check the box to sign up for beta testing, you might not see this page.

Thanks for the forum links!
In short - if you have file "assets_swtor_main" in your StarWars installation folder - you already have "release client".
Also client has to have size around 19Gb - if it's much more then it's bloated beta client and you might want to delete and re-download it to save about 10Gb.

No need to delete.
Simply look in your assets folder. You'll see red, blue or green assets. Delete all of those.
The only assets you should have are swtor_ . The rest are simply extra's because Bioware was lazy and their launcher didnt delete its older files like it should have.

Yeah....I got the same email. But I thought I remember reading somewhere that we should KEEP the beta installed and update it during early access. Justin, can you clarify this?
