@Verus Yeats and/or Equilibrium quote re: D&D? +1. :P

As for me, I'm distinctly underwhelmed. :/ Shame, I'm not anti-Cryptic, but it just felt a bit tired and lackluster to me. (Just my opinion, others may certainly vary.)

This is a first teaser and I want to see more.Show us some gameplay mechanics .I was never happy with Turbine's DDO, so I'm hoping Cryptic got that one right.

"Where will you be?!?"

Um, playing Guild Wars 2 and Aion 3.5 most likely. ;p

Hey, the guy in the trailer asked, I gave an honest answer...

I must admit, this trailer didn't really tickle my fancy.

And i strongly dislike the art direction.

Nice, good stuff. I'm really looking forward to this one. I plan to use it as a secret getaway from DDO that still has the D&D shtick going for it. Looks good, keep it up Cryptic! :)

This trailer was TERRIBAD. I'm not one to need fancy graphics at all to enjoy a trailer or game play. The people that storyboarded this one up need to be taken out back and flogged. Voiceover was semi-decent, but there was nothing here that got me excited, save for a bunch of city watch rabble that can defeat an ancient blue and a VERY old powerful lich that didn't even timestop these fools and pull their entrails out of their asses.

I hate the precedent set here for any kind of game play. Considering a single beholder could take down 40 level 0 to 4 henchmen, and one level 7 captain of the guard.

It was a trailer, and thus basically nothing but pr. Not to be trusted at best. Looked ok. I have no trouble with the graphics as presented. Now show me/tell me something of substance. Details of real actual gameplay please!

@Saker

I think its more their reputation than the trailer. People were looking for a reason to hope this game is Neverwinter. Not Champions with dragons.

I played the old Neverwinter Nights to death. To be exact over 3.5 thousand hours. This trailer, really did not impress me at all. Not to say im not interested in seeing what they do in the future.

Are there still only 4 playable classes or something like that? And F2P? The original NWN by Bioware is maybe my favorite game ever. Everyone should play it. Just can't see this Cryptic thing happening, and maybe I don't even want to.

This is just a cinematic trailer. The figures/people in it could be what player's see, but I say that since they are all so stilted and lifeless.

Voice Over works is nice, but it is really disjointed from what we see. I know they are going for "narration", especially with the last guy, but it just removes me emotionally from what is happening.

I'd like to see gameplay. None is here. This trailer is "alright", but hasn't gotten me excited.

I love the look of the lich. And I see hair, clothing, and cape physics. Pretty neat. I like the art style (it's gritty and cartoonish but not overdone and shallow looking like in CO).
