What do dubstep and EVE Online have in common? A new expansion trailer, for starters. Yes, Crucible is finally here, and so is CCP's return to a singular focus on internet spaceships. To celebrate, the company has released a slick new video, and the clip marks another return of sorts. All of the footage was captured in-game using real players, and the metagame stylings we've seen in some of EVE's more recent trailers is noticeably absent.

Well damn =P
As a self-described bitter vet here. Even I must say that is an impressive little video clip. May have to pay Eden a visit once again. Maybe wait a bit to see if the flurry of dev action is a flash in the pan or really a new direction. But interesting none the less.

I watched this because you said "dubstep." I'm a really easy sell. :V
In seriousness, though, it's a pretty cool trailer. The time dilation bit especially made me sit back and go "Whoa," and the engine trails look awesome.

These damn EVE-trailers always make me want to really get into the game, once and for all.

I've just started playing EVE for what must be the fifth time, trying to avoid the 'lock and orbit' boredom of previous attempts (which, if you believe the trailer, isn't the case).
Thankfully, I'm finding the non-combat mechanics actually quite appealing this time around. Mining FTW!

@fallwind
I've played Eve for upwards of 6 years, and yeah, level 1-3 missions can be pretty brainless. But if "lock and orbit" is the sum of your combat experience in Eve, you've barely scratched the surface.
