@(Unverified) I am too, but realistically my characters are too far behind gear-wise to just hop in the new raid (haven't played since January) - I suppose the new 5-mans are accessible to them tho.

@Grumms This!

Loved the game. Still think it is great, and all, but I will never resub.

Realizing it all won't matter when the new expansion hits - Priceless.

@(Unverified) Maybe the gear from the dungeons won't, but... faster leveling, the Faire, void storage, tmog, and the raid finder will be extremely useful well through this and future expansions... and there's a lot to be said for experiencing new dungeons at their peak time too.

Of course, if you're really just about grinding for and sitting on elite gear in MMOs, then yeah, you're not going to be satisfied with anything.

@Brianna Royce

Just so you know, my Goblin Warlock hit 80 while she was still questing in Dragonblight. They certainly don't need faster leveling in those zones.

...the rest of the stuff is really superfluous, in order to appear that your character is doing something useful outside of raiding when it comes to PvE... accept of coarse with the raid finder. To which I remind you and Justin that those "legendary daggers" are only available to Rogues who raid with the top raid guilds. Welcome to the 1%.

@Super Nerd

'New Baradin Hold boss & 3 new dungeons - Not relevant in the next expansion.'

Correction: Valid in the next expansion for the gear skins which some people will like to use with the aforementioned Transmogrification.

If Raid Finder doesn't turn out to be a huge debacle, I would be pleasantly surprised. I just can't see 25 pugs getting thrown together, listening to the appointed raid leader, not arguing over strats, not taking random afks, being specced/geared properly, etc. It sounds like a nightmare in the making.

@Shirvington Well, just like the tougher heroics, you're bound to get coupled with players who like to be carried through, I don't expect the raid finder to be much different - so, if you're lucky, about 1 out of 4 or 5 groups will work for a while.

@Crsh

I heard someone describe this to me and said that the Dungeons aren't the same difficulty as the actual dungeons. It's raid gear toned down some. This was over a month ago I was told this.

@Shirvington

I recently participated in a PUG raid (a PUR? :P) to kill the Lich King. Granted, we were all level 85 (i.e., five levels higher than originally intended for that raid), but many of us were not properly geared and had never raided together. We wiped a few times, but we were able to finish it. I was pleasantly surprised that we could, tbh. I think it helped a lot that the guy leading the raid was very clear in explaining what needed to be done, and very patient when a few of us missed our marks.

How well PUG raiding will work with the new raid zones remains to be seen, but I am cautiously optimistic.

To address one of your points ("being geared properly"), like the dungeon finder, you cannot enter the raid unless you have a certain level of gear. Not saying it is necessarily the best or even the right gear, but at least it has to be a certain item level.
