Sega published Spiral Knights but didn't own Three Rings.

They partnered with Three Rings, buying a share in that (one) game.
Now they've gone and bought the company, including the other half of that game.

My hope is they'll finally get rid of the freakin' energy mechanic for dungeons. I'd be playing the heck out of this game if it didn't have a stamina system in it...
