As it's Thanksgiving weekend in the US, it's fitting that BioWare is giving players something to be thankful for: one last, giant beta test of Star Wars: The Old Republic. So if you're interested in seeing if the hype matches the game, make sure you stay out of any turkey comas following Thursday!
According to SWTOR's Twitter, the test has been scheduled for November 25th through the 28th. This represents the largest beta test for the soon-to-be-released title yet, with hundreds of thousands -- perhaps millions -- of players invited to stress-test the servers.
The test might not technically be "open" beta, but it's pretty hard at this point not to get into it. Any player who registered for beta testing prior to November 11th is automatically included, and those that didn't can grab one of the thousands and thousands of keys floating out there -- including from us!
If you have questions about the beta test, it might behoove you to check out SWTOR's FAQ on the event.

And yet still no confirmation of whether there will be a Grace period once early access ends or not.
Stephen Reid needs to get off Twitter and answer the 800+ long thread about Bioware not honouring their previously stated grace period which is pretty important considering EA decided to release 5 days before Christmas during the busiest postal and freight time of the year.

@Grumms It has not been confirm, during a recent gathering of Fansites SR said that a code would now be needed IMMEDIATLY after early access ended.
A (at that time) 400 post thread spang up which SR only post in was to neither confirm nor deny that their would be a grace period.
That thread is now at over 800 posts and 40K+ views and SR has still not confirmed what was said to TOROCAST.

They are aware of it, obviously. Bioware has been very close to the chest on everything and been overly-cautious on releasing information until they have an absolute answer.
They will respond when the reply is definitive, I'm sure.

This is a big deal for BioWare. If this runs smoothly enough, we can expect a really good launch in my opinion.
Best of luck to the team, I'll be there for the login rush to see how it all pans out, but I'll be sticking to staying away until headstart!

Register for the beta, give the game a try and no need for an NDA. That makes sense, huh?

There is a reason they aren't lifting the N.D.A. still and if you think REALLY HARD about it you will figure it out. I'll leave you to it.

I am very excited for this beta test. It will be great to get an early look at the game. I am wondering if the NDA will be lifted during or after this test.

@ReadingRambo I'm also wondering if they'll finally lift the NDA after that weekend. It would be interesting to hear people's reactions.
Plus at that point, leaks are going to start pouring out anyway. What can Bioware do, throw people out of the beta so they have to wait a month to play for real?

Meh, there have been SO many leaks in the last months (years) even previously it is not funny. You just gotta know where to look.

Website is down again. Seems to be down for "scheduled maintenance" after making major announcements a lot recently... Why can't they just admit that the website is breaking under heavy traffic. Everybody already knows it.

@Dumac
Really? I thought it was scheduled maintenance. Like they've been doing for a long time now when they are working on the forums.
