Grats. Trion just got this out before SWTOR launched.

Now let's see if they can debug it all by then. /wink

I enjoyed the game and wish it well. Switching 'souls' on the fly wasn't something I was looking for though I know many people like it. Having every combination in one class lowered replay and also just meant more to switch and learn.

@Omegamaniac

i completely agree - i love everything about Rift except for this.
each patch just seemed to change which soul combo was the FotM.

In before the hate brigade.
Kudos for releasing another patch and continuing to strongly improve your game Trion.

Props to them for keeping up such a brutal release schedule. While the game wasn't something I was really looking for, my time spent in it (outside of PvP...yeah let's not talk about that) was fun and they have a solid game on their hands. I might give it a whirl considering they've been putting less focus on raiding (and I can no longer raid in games /sadface), but we'll see. They might have a re-activation weekend instead!

Trion failed on the addon features so not subing again for the next year or so. Was forced back to WOW to customise my UI, my raid and party framez and sound and visual features for procs instead of watching crappy small icons and horrible frames.

@Deadalon

I think if you're playing a game solely for your add-on customization of the interface, and if it's really such a deal breaker - I think you're playing online games for the wrong reason man.

Love the game or not, you have to give the devs credit for their content output. I don't play Rift but as far as I'm concerned, Trion's the only MMO company that can legitimately justify a monthly charge for their game

@Varakkys Yes. If I ever pick up a sub game again, they have to have a RIFTS level of content output to justify my sub fee.

Gotta agree, man. Even though RIFT bored me to sleep (seriously...it really did), you definately gotta give them credit for the consistant patch updates.

Definately giving Trion props for the updates.

@Varakkys
definitely if WoW had pulled out content at these rates then they wouln't be losing subs
While it's true one might say that WoW patches arguably give alot more content then Rift's. but Quantity> Quality I say.

Raiding Firelands for 4 months and doing the same troll dungeons is just absolutely ridiculous.

Just returned from a couple of hours with guildees in Caduceus Rise...got a couple of shard 1sts and Had A Blast.

Great update so far...cant wait for the zone to quit down some so I can do some exploring without feeling like I'm at the mall during Christmas :)

I don't play RIFT but I did play the beta and about a week of release. I'll tell you this - RIFT was light years ahead of TOR as far as completeness / polish a month before release. LIGHT YEARS.

@Tizmah Yes.

TOR though, even in its fairly buggy half-broken ass state is still light years ahead of Rift in sheer pure fun.

LIGHT YEARS.
