@(Unverified) I'm personally going for 6 months, or whatever founder's thing inevitably ends up showing up. I think it will have enough of a following to not go F2P, but if the aim is to copy WoW and add a dating sim... yeah. I don't understand why they just don't go the whole KotOR model(LOVE those games) and make an action RPG MMO.

I'm personally passing because I dislike EA, and Activision slightly less. The whole shill reviews debacle for one of their most controversial games this year, along with the dictatorship on their forums makes me cringe.

That said, I am also speaking as someone slightly annoyed, as my friends keep telling me to pick it up. I have Skyrim, Zelda, Harvest Moon 3DS, and a backlog still to play instead of giving in to another "experiment". They said Rift couldn't fail either, and the "timing was just right", but yeah, they left me in the dust on that one. Not falling for it again.

@(Unverified) Since Bioware, duh!:P

All my friends who are raving about it are also even complaining about the 30 GB downloads. And it's only open for a weekend, so some of them got pretty upset at that since they're couples both trying to DL the client.

@OrangeGamer
its not 30 gigs. Kotor wasn't really an action game. And for someone who is passing on a game your very vocal about it. No offense. I've played it , I liked it , no game is gonna appeal to every single person, but that doesn't mean one should not try it before making judgements.

Well, a game with a bunch of mute npcs would suck wouldn't it? I mean most people now seem to just complain because they need to read a quest text , now you can hear it. Plus you can now you can make choices, instead of just accepting a quest doing whatever the quest tell you like a mindless zombie. Sure it is similar to wow in alot of ways , but it is different none the less.

I've been beta testing since late July. The game is complete rubbish.

And somehow Bioware manages to make it *worse* with each new build. Anyways, pre-order canceled.
