Why the @#$% do they give the rights for such an awesome IP to an F2P fail studio!?
The only developers who could do this right would be Bioware and/or Bethesda imo.

Interestingly, George RR Martin chimed in earlier this year on this subject of people saying his world would not work in an MMO, and he disagreed with them. However, Martin also has said he hasn't played video games since the early 90s and that he had to stop because he was too captivated by them. He really doesn't seem to have a good feel for modern video game quality at all. The Cyanide RPG on the horizon looks like it would have been awesome in 2002. But I think an MMO could work given a quality developer behind it.

The most tragic thing that was shared earlier this year was that Todd Howard and Bethesda were offered GOT by Martin's friend/associate in charge of licensing these games, but Bethesda declined with a heavy heart as they wanted to focus on their next in house RPG which turned out to be Skyrim. I can't fathom a world without Skyrim now, but imagine what could have been,...
