@(Unverified) I agree I dont play on RP servers but there is no reason to allow harassment for those that do.

@Clemalum07

Yes there is. It's called "omg, an RP server, LULZ!".

Disagree, what became the "normal" failure of playing on a rp-pvp server was that Blizzard and other companies didn't enforce their own policies. Which empowered the trolls to even greater troll activities.

What's the point of having RP servers if you don't make it clear that you're going to be enforcing the rules on them?

Just sticking 'RP server' after the server name only serves to tell the griefers where to roll lowbie characters when they want to harass people.

@Nenene

Harassment is covered by the terms of service. Making a toon called Lolrpwtf is not.

Let's be fair here; lots of companies have put RP servers in their games, but none of them have ever enforced them. Even at the best of times, the actual "RPer" population of RP servers tends to be a low proportion with the rest composed either of regular PvErs or PvPers or greifers.

TOR's RP servers will go the same way as everyone else's; filled with characters called Pwnu, Sithdude and their ilk.

I think SW:TOR might need its own blog site, or subsite.

Just saying, cause the news is going to be insane the next few months.

That would be hilarious, two leet speakers, misspelling "the", and other terms suddenly fried by force lightning and left as smoking corpses on the ground. Or better yet an entire guild hall once the rabble gets out of hand in chat, all force fried. I can begin to see an upside to this guild bs if that happens.

"You have violated the language terms of use and this was your first warning, have a nice day"

WoW.

Bad taste puns aside, does WoW actually enforce RP in RP servers?
