Looks interesting, if only for the concept. I'm excited to hear more.

looks great aside for the lack of detail, it's a korean game and no link to a website. Most likely we won't see this till 2013. Thanks for the more detailed info though of where this came from wink wink. I'd definitely be very excited to hear this has a release window and a us publisher.

... its over 9000?

Best of luck to them as the MMO market could use horror titles. Also while I know this is a bit of a stretch, what has been shown so far looks rather polished. I hope that level of quality continues one as more information is released as I believe we could do with more indie companies like TRION and less with companies like Masthead Studios in terms of polish and quality.

Seeing as WoD had no plans to add WoA content I will keep an eye out on The Supernatural hopefully they do werewolves justice. ^^

What World of Darkness should have been. What a tragic waste CCP have made of that franchise, in my opinion.

Interesting. If this game goes with a subscription payment plan I may play this one instead of WoD. I love WoD, don't get me wrong, but when developers refuse to listen or even offer options, well, they lose business.

CCP of anyone currently should know this. Item Mall ain't the way to go. Not in the west anyway.

Well, seems like a good take, if it goes even part of the way I imagine/hope it would.

But...whatever happened to that one horror MMO Cryptic was working on? We heard about it after they broke away from NCSoft and even during Champions Online development, but nothing more (even got some production art out of it). I can assume they probably focused on STO and that's all she wrote, but Cryptic did still would trot it our every now and again. Of course, with the Perfect World International buy-out, maybe it's fate is sealed?

Any reporter on Massively can follow up on this?

@Space Cobra Late reply, but I've been trawling through Massively.com's pages for 2011 and saw this comment.

Going back a while now, but I'm pretty sure that someone like Emmert said that the in-development artwork that used to be on Cryptic's site was for a couple of games that were put on indefinite hiatus. So the horror game they were working on, as well as the pulp exploration title, are and will remain unrealised concepts.

I think they were put on hiatus after Cryptic left NCsoft.

The only way an MMO can be horror is by having serious SERIOUS death penalties. Otherwise any horror elements it will have will only be perceived as mere nuisances.

Second Life have Bloodlines. It's all that's around really, and it's got a fairly cult following now. But I'm looking forward to this one.

Horror is not my thing, but I have to admit that is a sexy image of the gal in the cocktail lounge, yum! Looks like it could be a water color painting.

The website doesn't work. No real direct info, you guys sure this isn't just some kid just floating up an idea for a mmorpg.

@mmogaddict well if you watched that video I linked with the character animations it would be a pretty talented "kid" as you put it.

Eh. Horror in an MMO just can not work. By their nature, an MMORPG forces a gamer to play thru the same content and fight the same mobs many times. There are only so many axe wielding mad men and bumps in the night one has to be exposed to before they become just another day at the office.
