Don't forget the other MMOs or online games, even if they were sorta-lobbies.

I'd like to hear about RPG-Net (makers odf Drakkar), Simutronics, the GENie/AOL Battletech Online. and even some of the MUCKS/MUDs out there that were produced by other hands, even FurryMuck (I know, tomatoes are headed my way!)

Also like to hear about the obscure, like this one online sorta BBS that you paid for that, IMO, introduced the first graphical lobby and customized avatars one controlled online over a menu although they only had one game and it was for the Atari computer (400/800/1200). I am trying to remember the name.

SWG had massive imbalances, and a developer That Just didn't give a damn, Smedley was the scum of the earth. The last remaining fans I feel sorry for. I Don't feel bad for the sudden resurge of "Fans" You left the game, don't act like you gave a shit, because it's suddenly almost cool.

This game was dead for years, Years. Let's kill the "EA/BW KILLED MAH GAME" QQfest.

Was my first MMO, it sucked (For Me) I left, and so did 99% of you, it died....eventually.

Again, I feel sorry for the True SWG Fans, Both of you. The rest of you remind me of the teenage girls who go to a funeral and cry about some person they never knew. That's what you people are. You make me want to wretch. lol

@Gawdfather

An people like you, still whining about SWG years after rage-quitting over the NGE, are just pathetic.

Still so bitter that you cannot even left those of us who played loyally for years (and yes, there were a lot of us) mourn its passing? Sad, just sad.

For the pioneer game that's still being played, I would guess it's Meridian 59 if they're referring to graphical mmo's

I'll never forget the fun I had with SWG, it was truly a one of kind experience. For all the imbalances, the CU, and the NGE, it will hold a place in my heart as the first MMORPGs I've ever felt truly immersed in. I hope that someday we will see the rise of another sandbox game that recaptures the essence of what made SWG great.
