Enough with the waiting -- there are battles to be won, and today's the day in which to win them! Joymax's Digimon Masters emerged from its beta cocoon, spread its wings, and flew into release today. It's much cooler if you think of it as a monstrous mechanized butterfly with atomic ray eyes, of course.
Unlike previous Digimon games, Digimon Masters will eschew turn-based combat to take place in real-time. Players assume the roles of Tamers who train combat-worthy creatures to battle each other.
Digimon Masters has been released worldwide and is currently only available in English. You can jump into the game through the Joymax portal.

Lol every possible IP and every company wants and have an mmo this days huh?
Better though that many of those games are still called and/or advertised as mmoRPG.
You know that having stats and ability to raise them does NOT make an rpg?

Well for Digimon, an MMORPG makes sense because it did take place in the *digital* world... At least, the first two seasons did, and after that I'm not really sure.

@smartstep Digimon already has a English MMO, Digimon Battle, but ages before that it was only in korea and later china as DigimonRPG Online.
It's nice to see at least one company cares about Digimon's global fanbase, because bandai sure as hell doesn't...(look at bandai's website and I'm sure you'll see what I mean >.
