@JanChel

I'll admit having Gnome Monks is the only thing that I find attractive and at the same time amusing to this expansion. But the rest of the stuff...well...is Happy Days after Fonzie jumped the shark. :(

Oh, I find all these other stuff interesting too. I'm generally a fan of changes, if done right and doesn't break anything. Like the pokemon battles, while having never bought one I did play a friend's copy back in my youth and I found the gameplay quite addicting. I spent the whole day playing that thing instead of whatever activity my family was doing at the time.

I also find the changes to the talent system somewhat interesting, I just hope there aren't very many empty levels. I hate empty levels. If you're not going to get anything, why even level up at all? Just reduce the number of levels and make it fun or everyone. Why not go with 30 levels and give us talent choices every 5 levels instead of 15? Because I doubt every class is getting 80+ abilities. So, that's something I want to find more about.

Also, I think you'de quite agree that Blizzard jumped the shark a long time ago (on many different occasions) and this new expansion is just an escalation of how things have been going so far. Also, the pandarens look cool. I just hope their animation is top notch, bouncing all over the place with every move. It should be quite funny to watch them play.

Does this mean that they are going to offer an 11th character slot? I for one wouldn't want to delete any of my current characters, as I have one of each class that currently exists. Five of them capped currently and three more close to being capped.

Not that I am sure I'd come back even for this expansion because I am starting to feel that Blizzard has jumped the shark in regards to WoW. Would be good to know if they were going to offer an 11th slot though.

A complete new Pet collecting and combat system is new for MMo's.

Kinda Pokemon on steroids meets gear chase of WOW.

Success assured dude.

Where's Jack Black?

Well, one good thing, I guess. Blizzard seems to understand that it's customer base is largely becoming the 10-14 year old age group. This could be ideal, though. If they begin catering to the younger gamers with WoW they can focus the Titan project on adult gamers and possibly dominate the genre for a long time to come.

Funniest thing I've read is that Titan is going to be "casual" apparently WoW is hardcore, who knew.

Actually, that was asked at one of the BlizzCon panals as to whether he would be voicing one of the Pandaren faction leaders. Blizz categorically said that wasn't going to happen. Just thought you should know.

Wow way to put a nail in the coffin here Blizz, stripped down talent trees even further, basically removing them completely and replacing them with static chose A, B , C talent options....One day your goign to wake up with a hangover from the money high and your going to look over at the other side of the bed and wonder where your wife has run off to. becuase much like the majority of your longtime fans from ages past, we've given up on you and your "addiction" we've moved on to a new and better life with other companies and other games now. We sincerely wish you well and hope you get help for our problems and maybe one day get your life back on track.

Sincerely,
Blizzard fans circe 1995-2009 (before you went the road of suck)

Sounds like WOW is going even more casual.

Guess they are focusing more on the Casual and Asian markets as that is their big potential growth areas now that they are seeing declines in their core western markets.

So they can do the same thing to Titan over five years like they did to WoW?

WoW used to be fun, it used to ahve a sense of grand scale and epic achievement, intense battles and PvP was fought for bragging rights and community good times. Now its nothing but a hollow rude, epeen waving cesspit (like XBL chat) of a community, there is no sense of scale or grandness left to WoW, no challenges left to overcome nothing...but a hollow shell of former glory. Yet, people keep on running that treadmill over and over and over again until they wake up and realize...Their still fat asses.

@Cepaqua

Yes, it did. In Vanilla Wow; Tarren Mills/Southshore almost always had a back and forth battle played purely for fun because there were no rewards involved. Crossroads almost always needed help, but my fav was the Hammerfall vs Refuge pointe. The Alliance would show up at the gates to Hammerfall and Horde would push them back to Refuge pointe where the guards would then flood out of that little buttoncrack and turn the tide, causing horde to flee back to Hammerfall with Alliance on their tail to start the whole process over again. It was some really awesome back and forth battles that had so much more heart and faction pride involved because back in those days we weren't doing it for handouts. We did it because it was fun to do. Then of course the servers would start grinding and everything would slow down. Corpses would be sliding around because they didn't know they were dead yet. It was good times.

"They will be granted double stat benefits from food due to their Epicurean racial ability, while the Gourmand racial increases their cooking skill by 15. The zen-like Pandaren also possess a strong Inner Peace, which causes rested experience to last twice as long. Rounding out the racials are the Bouncy passive ability, which reduces the Pandaren's falling damage by half, and Quaking Palm, an active ability that puts a target to sleep for three seconds."

o.O uh, anyone else think those racials are by FAR the best set in the game? i mean dbl food buffs for raids, dbl rest XP for leveling, half falling dmg, and a freaking mez ....w t f

They are gonna have to change the acronym from WoW to WoP

LOL this game has gone to the pits. I even tried rolling Alli for awhile to see if I could stay, but it just sucks now. I feel like the expansion is an April Fool's joke gone bad. Blizz better pull something out of their magical hats pretty soon or I can see F2P claiming this game.

It'll be free to play to 60 then 70 then Blizzard announces that they are condensing servers... lol I can see it. Blizz you better save this disaster.

@jakofascalon I was thinking the same thing - this is a bad April Fool's joke. Unfortunately, it isn't. I don't play WoW and this new EP is making me glad I didn't.

And like you said, WoW is right around the bend from F2P. 2012 - mark my words.

So instead of trying to compete head on with swtor and GW2 they are moving their demographic down to folks in the teen range instead of the adults like they used to. I say this mainly due to 2 reasons.

- they added pokemon to the game

- Pandarians and pandaria resemble the kung fu panda movie.

They are also appealing to the budding East audience alot more but using asian theme and architecture

I for one saw pokemon being added and busted out laughing. Realizing that my chance of ever comming back to the game went from slim to almost nil.
