They are playing with fire now. Making all this buzz about F2P - more like, Access to play one character and you cant do shit else unless you play.

I've been wondering how to get verfied for some time now, I've played in my account settings, no such luck. Care to explain, before critizing.

Seems people have not learn yet that freemium games are nothing more than glorified trials with free option...

As a f2c (free to comment) account you can't be un-unverified. Such features and many other benefits are part of the massively premium subscription plan. They have to earn money somehow!

Seriously though, i don't know.

Even some of the Massively staff post comments as unverified

These features, maybe. I'm quite keen on trying it out again once it goes F2P. Loved the graphics, wasn't keen enough on the console-based UI or chat system to pay standard MMO pricing for it.

Can we have a pay-to-win option for Massively commenting. Like, the edit comment function for $2, and the ability to help you guys delete the stupid spam posts for $5.

Wait...maybe you should pay us for that feature. :)

I haven't tried the game yet but I actually want to just to see this as I have seen similar comments before. I am really worried Dark Millenium Online will share these problems since it appears to be going down the console friendly route with it's combat.

In my opinion, you really can't design a decent mmo without decent community tools and a functional, active chat window and ui are step one for me.

Still waiting for SOE to activate the SWG fan appreciation rewards that were supposed to go live 10/15 so I can jump into DCUO to see what's changed. I should have known better.

Devs said if you don't have it, submit a ticket. They have to manually edit your account.

Did that 4 days ago. Gotten a couple, "We're working on it, no ETA yet, sorry for the delay" messages.

Did you post on the DCUO account forums? The head account mod there is really good. Post your ticket number(NOT YOUR STATION ID) for him there and he may be able to help. I would imagine they are swamped with all the changes going on.

There's a webcast on the 27th to talk about it, the way it was worded on the forum I wouldn't be surprised if it's delayed to early November.

Subway is offering a promotion that gives you a code for 30 days of Legendary subscription. I entered my code on DCUO website and got an error. So I emailed their support team.

This is their response copied from the email

"The Subway codes are only valid for Uncharged 3 until November 1st. After November 1st they switch to DC Universe. So if you are wanting to use the code for DC Universe you would need to wait and use the code between November 1st and December 31st."

So since Legendary service isn't used until they go F2P, I'm assuming its launching Nov 1st or even sooner. I remember a dev or Smedley saying it will launch towards end of October. Oh and no where in the promotion notes could I find the where it states the promotion for DCUO is Nov 1st through Dec 31st.

Hope that helps
