@Bramen

That's the one fix I've been waiting for. Now there's nothing but the lack of playable female Roegadyn keeping me from giving it yet another go.

To people that haven't tried this game please don't misunderstand; this was not a rough launch, this game was a crash and burn. They ignored testers, made a horribly made game, and have been trying to remake it on it's broken chasis to sell the PS3 version someday. Players that have played this are very passion about it, so many of us are long time FF fans, and looked forward to this game. So many people want to give SE a second chance, when they clearly took advantage of their fan base, and made a insulting product. You can choose to make a example out of this game, and set a point to all developers; this is not acceptible. If SE truly wants to be famous again, they need to earn it.

So if what they've done with the game thus far since launch isn't acceptable, what is? What would get you to forgive SE? Scrap FFXIV regardless of how it turns out I'm guessing.

The game should be so good, you get the shakes after playing, players won't be playing SWTOR GW2, and the other future games, because they want to go play XIV. That's not going to happen though is it? Even after the corrections it's a mediocre game, and perhaps can never be fixed based mainly on the tunnel like world structure, story lacking questing systems, and boring slow combat. The new Irfit video speaks volumes to the current state. Again, SE is only fixing this game for the PS3 release, to scam some more gamers out of money. Some of the biggest issues comes from designing a MMO for a console first, instead of a PC; long menu navagation, complex UI, slow as nails. I want to see a great product, it's still very much a boring game. Past recent FF titles have also been poor quality, they need to get back to the roots; a great story with a great game.
