@(Unverified) Yup. I imagine most of this nice furniture will be cash shop.

Heck, who knows how much it is to even get the housing to begin with.

@hami83 considering current RMT prices [on Garnet server]; maybe around 2k~3k gold if they want it widespread or if the housing certificate/whatever is locked to a cash shop item, 5k~8k if it's directly available in-game. I'm betting on a cash shop item to unlock housing [and make it timed].

I don't have much of a problem using the cash shop to obtain an in-game house, but I would be very sad if the property was only yours for a limited amount of time. This feature looks amazing, but I would be reluctant to try it if my house I paid $X for would just go away in a few weeks, months, etc. Other than that, housing looks like it'll be wonderfully implemented into EE, and I hope for the absolute best!

@Mylamber

Agreed. However, Im playing AoC now, which is eating up a monumental amount of my time. So EE is on the back burner for now.

Sadly.

I mean, I LOVE the game, the animations are spot-on, the questing is actually fun with the Class-Change feature, and so-on, but AoC is just offering me a deeper GAME at this point (without a proper crafting mechanic, I cant understand how either...).

Still, EE is definately a rare gem. I just wish they'd finally put a goddamn repair NPC in the Golden City...having to travel to Aven to repair sucks!

Golden City my ass!!

Its how they get you. Who cares about grinding when you have a house, amiright? Nevermind that it costs real money, and you'll probably need to reach a certain level to get one.

This game is still flavor of the month. Its just lasting a few more months than it should.

And shame on you for having an opinion. Its not like this is a news blog site with an open opinion comment section or anything.

I played this game hardcore for 1.5months and managed to get banned/unbanned 5 times in that timeframe. Aeria Games has no idea on how to treat customers. Their game was filled with bots, and they release statted cash shop costumes like (10% Crit rate) to milk their customers every week. On top of that they would be in lotto boxes with a very RARE chance of even getting the statted costume. (Some claiming to spend $500 on boxes to only get level 10 mana potions) The only nice part about the game was that the cash shop items were tradeable. I collected them and got banned for doing just that. I played the auction house and was constantly getting banned because of the gold transactions. [GM]Tactics said I had been "duping" items in their shoutbox. They also manipulated posts I made on their forums to discredit me as a "duper" who cheated when all I did was NOT pay and play the economy to my advantage. You can read the FULL story on my blog, but my advise is to STAY AWAY from this game before your get too invested like I did.

I like your blog. It sort of makes me angry at MMOs though. I just hate how once you reach the end in nearly every MMO, the game switches from an RPG to a Stock Market Trader Simulator.

Anyone that has received any money or items from banned gold farmers are also affected. In their minds, You could very well be the "chief" account, the one that holds all the gold that the farmers earn.

But yeah, screw Aeria.

It's cool having player housing and all, but at the same time it seems to be a waste of space. So far my favorite housing in game was in SWG, granted it was a long and painful procedure making it look nice, but it also served as storage and crafting labs ect.. The whole 'I have a bed and lamps' housing idea seems a bit crappy imo.. I'm not an RP'er, so I can't relate to people who do - it maybe really awesome.

I'd like to see like armor and weapon racks (that you can equip with old gear), trophies to show off and decorate in the process, heads/trophies of bosses you have killed on plaques or in cases, a trash can full of Darkmoon cards that no one buys on the AH anymore, useful storage space. Like lock boxes that link to banks, workshop areas and of course a social area ect..

Now that I'd pay for! Digital rugs and fancy curtains - no way!

Excellent game run by a greedy, BBB-paying, corrupt company.
