DAoC for 7 years (only randomly active for the past 3 years), followed by WoW on and off since its release, and then EVE. Aion has been keeping me busy for about a year now, and Rift for about 5 months.

Off and on, that's a toughie.

I tend to re-sub or even go back to f2p things. Check back on old games, etc.

So far, I'd say the most I have re-visited and resubbed to and been a part of a branch of a certain fan forum has been CoH. Since Beta until now, but I've had breaks, the longest being close to a year.

DDO for over a year. I stil log in once in a while. Probably the most fun I have had in an MMO till the Rise of the Guilds thing. I may jump back in to check out the Artificer expansion.

For me, the winner has to be Lord of the Rings Online at 4.5 years and still going.

Coming in at close seconds are Asheron's Call and Anarchy Online. If AO had finished their graphics updates a year or two ago it'd probably be in the lead. It's just taking Funcom too long.

City of Heroes - 7 years. I have friends who were in beta; it launched in spring 2004 but I held out until late that summer, having heard about the long development cycle.

Also, I'm still subscribed (at the long-term rate) to Puzzle Pirates, having gotten into the beta earlier that same summer; it was my "gateway MMO" *wry*

City of Heroes has been the longest - 5 years 4 months and counting.

Most other games less than a year - total calendar time with Anarchy Online perhaps a bit over a year, same with Guild Wars.
World of Warcraft a bit less than a year.

Actively played and fanatical until the point of jadedness and burnout:
Realms of Despair MUD (~ 7 years - 4-5 of which was truly hardcore and started faltering from there)
City of Heroes (6 years, 3 months - ditto, 4-5 keen years and interest began waning from there)

Guild Wars - Joined during weekend preview events of 2004 and sanguine about the game still. There were long 3-6 month breaks in between playtime though, so not continuous active play lifespan. (~still ongoing)

LOTRO - Sub maintained from launch in 2007 to just a bit before free-to-play launched. Interest was waning before F2P, and I stuck around for a month or two when F2P launched, so it evens out.
(~2-3 years.)

ATITD - Tried this three times, two of which for a pretty long period of a year or so. Summing it up, maybe also (~2 years)

WAR, AoC, Aion, Rift - about 3-6 months each of peak interest. No hard feelings with them though, might return at some point if I ever get around to them.

I've played Sloth3Mud off and on for a long time. WoW and CoH each for 2 yrs and nothing else has really stuck for very long. Rift is great but im just more interested in something like Tabula Rasa then traditional mmo combat.

Morrowind is my longest single RPG. You can just get lost in that game.

The longest I've played one is the three months I played Rift. Before anyone asks: yes, I do have ADD.

WoW for 10 months. It was my first MMO. EVE for two six-month stretches. I have a six-month Perpetuum sub, though I tend to play casually.

Nowadays, if a game keeps me subscribed for more than two months, it's a major success.
