One Shots: Final contribution

Remind me again why One Shots will be ending? Love seeing the posts.

What a shame it's the end....new feature better be awesome, but I'm sure it will be. :P

I'll miss One Shots, but I look forward to whatever replaces it.

Umm...yeah, I also echo the "huh? It's ending??" Sentiment.

Okay, reading and apparently this is a "surprise", but...I kinda don't get it.

This isn't like a magazine where you have limited space for articles and advertising or is it? In printed mags, you have to balance those sort of things, but here, you have unlimited space to print in.

Unless there is a system of certain articles need to get certain hits to survive? I mean, why can't we have the cake AND the new Ice Cream instead of just the Ice Cream without the cake?

Add me to the list of those asking why One Shots is going away- I enjoy the pictures.

Perhaps there aren't a lot of page hits on the One Shots offerings, but I look at all of them from the main Massively page without clicking on them, since you can see the image without doing so.

If you're running out of reader submissions, I have over a year's worth of images from various games :)

Save One Shots!

Another one who always looks at the picture, maybe reads the reader-subbed description, but hardly ever clicks through since there are rarely many comments. I'll miss the One Shot feature.

Took me by surprise. Was the end of One Shots announced somewhere?

Shame to see this go. One of the parts of massively I always take a look at. Pictures are of interest to anyone, regardless of whether you play that game or not.

Give me the oneshots e-mail and column access and I will take it over at no cost! :p

It's shutting down to make way for a new column, but I'd rather have this AND a new column :(

I'll be missing One Shots when it goes away. However, if they add something in its place, hopefully that'll be just as enjoyable.

Rubi had to stop doing the column so she could free up more time to compile Guild Wars topics to gum up the podcast.

Oh memories... I remember being reported for having out 3 rancors, it was wrong, but man it looked cool!

I'm with everyone else, why are they taking away one shots..?

One Shots ending? Darn, I always enjoy seeing this feature no matter what game is getting the spotlight. While I've had two or three pics (woot!) make it to One Shots, I've been holding on to a few more waiting for the right category to submit them. :(

Hopefully it will be replaced by something similar, so I can continue to see some of the neat stuff others get up to in the games they play.
