That's great good on Yoshi-P to go out in front of the fans to get some praise or some rotten vegetables thrown at him.

IMO an anniversary is for the players who enjoy the game. SE should be hosting a one-year self-reflection meeting tbh.

This is the game that it's own developers say was so bad it had damaged the FF brand?

@Ref Minor You still have to buy a copy of the game, which I've seen at around $30, but after that, you won't be charged a subscription.

I hope he talks about the status of the PS3 version.

I think it's been said a thousand times so far, but no, they're not charging anything at all except what you pay for getting the physical game (and even that one is dirt-cheap by this point -- I managed to get it for around 8 USD off of Amazon UK).

Could be worth it if you've been a Final Fantasy fan so far and want to try it out, as long as they don't put the sub fee back in. I'm having a bit of fun, but not even I would stick around in that instance. Game's not worth a sub fee, IMHO.

Is this letter, the declaration of victory banner over the battleship, because this patch is not that victory. There is NOTHING to celebrate when it comes to this game. SE needs to take it right up the pants, they gotten lazy over the years, and XIV is the straw to break the camel, and the mountain the camel is standing on.

as much as they failed in making a game that's worthy of a public release one year ago, ever since the new guy took over they're doing everything they can, which earns my respect. the game is still bad and probably will never be really good though, or maybe I should say "it will never appeal to a borad audience"

Heyyy just a heads up, it's at 8AM not 8PM EDT so it will be 5AM on the west coast.
