The parties will also give buffs to everyone who visits the player's house during the event, which is a nice little touch.

I really like Eden Eternal. It's the first F2P I've felt compelled to spend actual money in.

This is one of those games that I keep playing for some odd reason. The class changing is a very nice feature, especially since you can wear all three tiers of armor at once.

Granted, more control over the UI would be nice. I'm also going to have to stop myself from making a giant Russian bear when that race is released...

@(Unverified) Yeah. I was genuinely loving this game and was considering spending money on it, but once I hit the mid 30s, it became such a super grind.

I died once and lost hours worth of grinding.

Death penalties is so stupid, and in this game is basically forcing you to buy their items to help you with death.
I know you don't lose xp in instances, but really? if you don't lose xp in one place, why in others?

Anyway, yeah, the grind just got stupid. Which was a shame, because I loved everything about the game.

@(Unverified) Soloing is the most inefficient way to level in EE. Questing in groups and running dgns are the fastest way -- mucking along by yourself gets incredible tedius at higher levels. In other words, around lv30 it's wise to join a good guild, because otherwise the higher levels will just be a grindy bore.

The 5% xp death penalty does get harsher at higher levels, but but being rezzed by another player halves exp penalty of death (makes it 2%), so that's another reason to at least duo when doing rep quests or whatev.

"If five new levels, a new class, and houses aren't enough for you, get this: You can throw parties! In your house! House parties!"

I always thought that housing systems were there for socializing [or I've been using it wrong for the last 4 years]. That's like slapping it in my face and then laughing. :(
