Nice game looks good. This video was also a lot better then their old one. But still turbine under WB seems like an uptight place to work. I think everyone in the video was in a press polo or a suite and tie.

You are selling a game, not a accounting software. I am interested to see how fun the game turns out or not.

Hey, i love the artwork these folks put out, it has always been first rate, but with the limited fanbase this game has, to state they will be around....."years" i do not see it, unless they simply wont shut it down due to hard heads.

its pretty easy to guestimate the current population of LOTR with the server numbers and then get a lock on the solid core group by looking at the pvmp stats, always the same names, with one or two new folks thrown in, and they disappear.

Me, a sad lifetime sub of wishing i was chomping on a hobbit in the shire, to see the smoke rings wafting from its torn throat........heavy sigh.

Was in beta, it will be a disappointment. The epic storyline consists of quests that tell you to "Help the people of the surrounding area as much as you can and move on" to the next quest that tells you to do the same thing all over again for the next area. The Draigoch raid is cool, but will get old and be a grind after the 2nd run. And penalizing people for not paying cash for RoI up front by charging 6,000 TP for everything AND making VIP's pay for the raid? Another bad move. Turbine has gotten a little too money hungry. Unless they have a major rabbit up their sleeve, SWTOR is going to kill LOTRO.

@(Unverified) Psssh GW2 will blow SWTOR out of the water. What im wondering is what are games like LOTRO and the others going to do about the fantastic ui elements out there that have made other games more popular like aoe looting, a bag dedicated to quest items that doesn't take up regular space etc etc. what are they doing to improve the game other then class mechanics?
