vets happy = more and new players.
spaceship barbie (not the one docked in Amarr) = bitter vet tears = less players.

CCP needs to understand this.

Optimization plus ships spinning and being able to avoid Inclosetcarna? I might resub. :)

you know.. I really couldn't care less for "spinning ships". the trouble is the new view doesn't allow for quick right clicking on the ship to get to the cargo, maintance, or ore bays. I an open the shipfit view and right click and do those things.. (also see the ship spin by the way) but it's an extra click.

oh well.

"It was hard to distinguish between turret types. As a result, we will be reverting the change so that turret icons use the original custom drawn icons, rather than 3d renders of the turrets themselves."

What? No it wasnt, unless you're blind. Actually, I'm half-blind and could distinguish different turrets. Great job CCP caving into whiners.

I might actually resub after hearing this news. Ship spinning was one of those guilty pleasures which made EVE feel like my home for years. Also the UI functionality was fairly easy to work with.

Now why didn't they do this when Incarna was first released? I probably wasn't the only person who thought this is how Incarna would actually be...rather than being force to play space barbie.
