One Shots: Not exactly peaceful

Rift has good graphics. But it is lacking in gameplay enjoyment atm compared to many MMOs. TRION needs to fix quite a few basic issues that are becoming soo aparent that ppl are quitting right left and center.

One beeing the horrible UI and raid frames that healers are forced to use. Very little custimization and improvements have been done to it. It is buggy and it is very much damaging the enjoyment of many players. I can guaranty it cause I have been following the talk on RIFT forums over the past few weeks and months - and played the game as a healer trying many diffrent builds.

1.5 seems to have no improvements - thus I did not resub. And it looks to late now for addons cause most of the ppl that would create them and use them have already left now and are waiting for the new MMOs coming.

Clearly "inspired" by WAR Chaos starting zone, which was voted the best WAR starting zone in a mmorpg.com poll.

I'm sure someone will come up saying this has no relevance with anything whatsoever, but i'm putting it out there nonetheless.

I loved the feel in most of Rift's zones when I was playing it. Especially liked the way sounds and game music became muffled when you were underwater. It's a small thing, but an awesome little touch.

I liked the starting zones the first couple of times I started new characters in beta. IMO, Rift isn't an altaholic's game. Only 1 starting zone per faction and each character is basically like a Mongolian BBQ entree -- if I wanted to make it myself, I would have stayed home.
