The store for Lord of the Rings Online is probably not the sort of epic adventure you think of when you consider Middle-earth. But it's an integral part of the game's setup now that it's moved over to free-to-play, and so it's in the best interests of Turbine Entertainment to make the store as easy to navigate and productive as possible. To that end, the team has announced a set of coming updates that should help players navigate the store, make purchases, and manage those purchases with the greatest of ease.
The two biggest additions at a glance are the inclusion of a Quick Buy button and an Add to Cart button, with the former saving the need for a shopping cart trick and the latter allowing you to stay on the page after adding the item. Also added are a Recent Buy tab and some improvements to the visual elements of the store, making it easier for players to see which categories have additional items. No, it's not quite as exciting as slaying dragons and Uruk-Hai, but it should make it a little easier to buy the gear to do so.

This is one store I'm more than happy to drop money at. I like the quality of it and have always loved LOTRO. I'm a firm believer in supporting what you love.

Since rejoining this game a couple months back, the cash shop has had a vacuum hose in my wallet. Mostly I don't mind, but some of the hidden costs are annoying (like removing the crafting guild cap).

They're adding more 'give us your money" buttons?!? No way!
I'm sure I'll get rated down for the comment but w/e.
When I finally quit the game a while ago, one of the press matters for me as a long time paying subscriber was the ever increasing amount of 'give us your money" buttons. If you've been around for a while I'm sure you know which update I'm referring to.

"two biggest ADDITIONS"
"Quick BUY BUTTON"
"ADD to CART BUTTON"
YUP! _I'M_ the one who didn't read the article. ^_^b
You say they're improvements; that's opinion.
I say they're adding more buttons that give them money; that's fact.
Oh look, here come more rate downs by fanboys who can't take the truth. Did I knock the game or say it was horrible? No, I said they keep focusing on F2P with a blatant disregard for their subscribers and that the game wasn't for me but "Woe! Fanboys lament! We must validate our niche by crushing those who oppose our shared thinking and doesn't want to play the game anymore. RATE DOWN RATE DOWN!". *rollseyes*
The funny thing is if this game was still relevant enough to garnish views, I'd be rated right back up by those not blinded by their fandom.

Yes, and those buttons are part of the ingame store interface, not buttons outside of the store UI that direct you towards the store like you were complaining about.
It's not an "opinion" that features that make it easier to find and purchase products are improvements when it comes to a shop UI.
I like how people always blame their downvotes on fanboys. This site is full of F2P hate; if you get downvoted while attacking a game with a cash shop then it's probably because your post was stupid. If you're so worried about what other people feel about your posts then you'd think that you'd put a little more thought into them.
