p.s. What is your favourite ship to run with an Engineering Captain?

@(Unverified) I run a Fleet Escort on my Vice Tactical, a Cruiser on my Captain Tactical but my Sci and Engie are too young to need to choose :-) I was toying with the idea of going with an Engie in a Sci ship...

@Luxxicon I love running with a Sovereign on my VA engy. Galaxy refit is really fun when I'm just messing around, but boy does the turn rate get tiresome.

@Luxxicon
Sovereign or Excelsior (refit) here... I really wish I could get the former with the Tac console of the latter.

@Luxxicon I'm currently in a Tactical Escort Retrofit (Defiant).

Engineers make some of the best escort pilots as they can still dish out the damage, while also having good survivability.

Will fly the Ent-F when it comes out :)

Rotate shield freq. is a bread and butter skill that makes the engy feel a lot more sturdy. One of my favorite space skills for sure.

What about the mines for ground? I've never tried it but I've heard mixed things aobut it. Some swear by it, others say it isn't worth it.

I have little off-topic question...

I would like to try STO, but I've always played fantasy MMO, so then I see all these "shield, cannons, fazers" ect. I feel sooo confued... not mentioning whole STO skill/spec tree it's sooo hard for me to understand, coz I don't know that skill do that, that improves it ect. ect.

Does anyone know a good guide for such fantasy-mmo-nubs like me to get it all easy explained? :(
