"a 24-hour gaming marathon designed to put a little coin in the pocket of the Children's Miracle Network."

How?
OK, maybe i missed this part but how exactly is gaming supposed to help with donations?
Is it the publicity?
(Honestly i have no idea, not trying to troll or anything)

@Floop the Squirrel

It works like a walk a thon does.

Basically you are "sponsered" to play RIFT. You get people to donate to your cause, so say you play for 8 hours, then each of those 8 hours your sponsers will donate so much money to the cause.

In this case its 1 dollar for each hour of the marathon you participate in.

I think its a cute idea.

So... does "sponsor" = "co-dependent"?
