It's going to be a close call between this and DUST 514. I'm glad for the competition, it's going to force both SOE and CCP to try and outdo each other. All the better for us players. :)

Also SOE are talking about adding a space component in the future so it may create some competition for EVE Online as well.

If DUST is good enough, I would certainly consider buying a PS3 just for that game. What platforms the games are on is irrelevant to me if they're the best of that genre.

@(Unverified) Buying a console to play an FPS. Using a pad. Aiming with a silly, little thumb-joystick. Wow.

The ultimate online FPS? Ha yeah sure but too bad we already had it as it is and always will be the original TF mod to Quake. Period end of discussion. Nothing like good quality clan v clan matches that would go for hours on end if you wanted them, no bs oh I have to pick and buy this or that gear loadout to do anything or hey look a crit hit omg I'm the best look at me. No morons running around spamming knife fights or the AWP is OP. You either learned the classes or you sat on the sidelines.

It is amazing how little interest I have in this game since they said they would have microtransactions.

Look at how many posts PS2 articles get now. 7 comments after being up for a day. Now look at how many comments the articles got before the micro-transactions were mentioned. SOE, as usual, has found an easy way to ruin something that could have been good.
