@Jasdemi Then why are you saying it sounds good?

@epilepticemu Because things that look good on paper don't always turn out that way when they're actually implemented?

Much ado about nothing... again. It is the normal way Aventurine operates.

What, so the 20 people still playing can now siege each other? Sounds fantastic.

There are enormous, foundational design level reasons why almost everyone quit playing, the siege rules just being a small part of that. AV has really been trying to make DF 2.0 look like a huge thing, but nothing I've heard from them makes it look like an enormous or radical shift in game design.

Darkfall is more of a clan warfare themepark than it is a sandbox.

AV hasn't a clue when it comes to actual sandbox design.

@AnathemaOne Wait. Real clanwarfare? Like Shadowbane was supposed to be?

I've played both. MO always "seems" better till you actually play it for a while. As amazing as it sounds, DFO is much more polished.
