In a game like Wurm Online, fresh lands are important. After all, the game places so much emphasis on setting up your own homestead in the untamed wilderness that you find yourself a bit out in the cold if the land is already developed. This was part of what led to the opening of the game's first new server, Deliverance, but the response of the playerbase has been so overwhelming that the development team is doing the time warp again.
According to the development team, a new land named Exodus is being added just south of Deliverance. It's intended to give players a new chance to get involved with building in fertile lands untouched by human expansion, and it's set to go live on Thursday at 1 p.m. EDT. For those of you recalling the issues with the earlier server opening, the team hopes that the new region will open without problem. So get ready to go... well, south, young man, because the lands there are ripe for the taking.

Good to see sandboxes being covered. Its easy to get tired of reading about themeparks and obscure asian mmo's.

I'm not actively playing Wurm, but I'm still very fond of the game. There's a lot of excellence in that design just waiting for a tune-up and a new coat of paint.

Is this a premium only server? What about Deliverance?

@Vazzaroth
Deliverance is available to both free and prem players, and is the default spawn for new accounts.
Exodus will supposedly be available to both as well, buth will feature wildlife not rally suitable for free/new players :P

I'm very happy I stuck out the tutorial and gave this game an honest chance. I've been playing it steadily now for about 2 months.

As a 8 year veteran of wurm. I highly suggest this game to anyone who is sick of the same old crap the mmo genre has been jamming down our throat for years. It's the fresh, its exciting, and it means something to get that 1 extra skill point.
And no, these will be free server Vazzaroth.

will we be able to bring our existing characters? I got into wurm for a bit and really found it fun and even theraputic. But i fell out of it after a while and might be interested in taking a stab at it again.
