Diablo 3 would have zero competition if they didn't focus on "gamer's are stupid" attitude, "balancing is extremely difficult", and "gamer's are lazy + Security". A game that has no real weight behind PvP, doesn't need even playing field mechanics like WoW(which they still can't get right) No matter how much depth you cut out of a game, there will always be the goods and the bads. As well as those who don't play online don't need "security", be nice to play the game when my ISP is being retarded - I have Comcast, so that is a great deal of down time. And how does an offline player ruin the game by cheating offline? IMO You screw yourself when you cheat or maybe you can test builds - what ever, but limiting gamer's is a step backwards!

The only true defense Blizzard has is Greed and Control over users.

Don't remind me about LoL, Riot managed to succeed where every other moba company failed by getting me to quit playing LoL, by basically saying my money isn't good enough for them. Yeah yeah, I could boot camp it or whatnot, but one of the biggest reasons I played it and gave them money was so that I didn't have to restart into another OS (I required OSX for work related things) just to play a video game.

So far, there seems to be no communication as to whether we'll actually get that promised refund. You are only eligible for it if you: happened to see the announcement made about 4 days before closure on the forum, logged on in that period and went to the store. No email alert or anything was given to people, so I imagine a fairly large number of mac lol players won't even be eligible for the reimbursement. It was even weirder given that the mac client was totally functional, they just decided to kick off everyone using a client that was actually working great.

On the upside, D3 is on the horizon, and blizzard I can actually trust with their mac support.
