Grind Grind Grind.....

Yet another uninformed mongoloid slogs his hunchback-ass in, knuckles dragging across the floor, to comment on something he knows nothing about.

I actually play Eden Eternal, as does alot of people on this site, and there is as much grind in this game as there are RTS elements in World of Warcraft....

I hit the level cap of 50 in 2 weeks and 4 days (thats not cumulative hours, thats just how many calendar days I played with about 3 hours a day online), and the new level cap of 55 in 9 hours.

So again, at least play the game, or even hit the forums to get a BASIC understanding of game mechanics and the community issues, and come back with some ammunition to troll, don't simply yank something out of your ass.

I stand corrected, I hit 55 in about 10-12 hours, was doing Guild runs and helping the newer 50s rise up too.

Play 12sky1 or 12sky2 or Flyff. That's serious grinding, playing for 3 hours on x4 exp to get only 5%. Playing 3 hours on Eden at lvl 55 gets you at least 20% or so through pure grinding.

If leveling on your own is to slow then go do dungeon parties. Exp is quick via that method.

I play it, am active on the forums...and dont tell me that between 29 and 50 it isnt one of THE worst grinds in all MMO land. so go back to grinding yet another class.

Is it just me or is there no link to the official site anywhere in this post? I believe when an article says something like "then head on over to the official site to download the client and register to play." it would be nice to have a link. I mean I can just go look it and it isn't a terrible inconvenience or anything but... ya know... there is this thing called hypertext and it can point to things other than tags... and it can be really convenient... like this:

http://edeneternal.aeriagames.com/

for anyone that feels the same way ;)

They mentioned a while back that it was a rule given to them by their new bosses. :( Kinda cheesy and I feel bad for the bloggers. They just want to write helpful posts but getting hamstringed by the suits! The SUITS! :)

Actually, this one was a mistake. We're supposed to add a source link to the bottom of each post, and that wasn't done this time. Thanks for the heads up.

A good game with a refreshing style. It has some issues (the invisible walls are infuriating sometimes) but I was pretty impressed.

Ah, yeah, thought it might be something like that, thanks. Maybe I will just put a link to the official site in every post in the comments, just to see what happens ;)

@Fnights

Again, if you think there is any major grind in this game, then you either suck major ass at MMOs, never played one before, or are trolling hard.

I'll be the first to point out the problems with the game, but "grinding" isnt even on the list of its MAJOR problems, let alone its small issues.

If you thought EE was grindy then it must have been your first MMO.
Nearly all my guildmates reached the lv.50 cap in 2 weeks. And that's considered SLOW compared to people who reached it in a few days.
EE is not a grindfest unless for some odd reason you did everything by yourself or never found a guild.
I'd say it's perfect for people who only have a few hours to play a day,but it's not great for super grinders due to the massive amount of XP/CP boosts that are easily obtainable.
