[Updated] Guild Wars 2 Charr plushies on sale now, but you can win one free from Massively!

Guild Wars 2 fans attending PAX may have noticed an extra attendee roaming the show floor: the fiercely cute Charr plushie. According to the tag on his backside, he goes by the name Charrlie, and it seemed like every ArenaNet devotee at PAX wanted to nab one for his or her very own.

The ArenaNet crew handed out several as prizes during a panel and some trivia contests on stage, and promised fans that the plushies would be for sale at some time in the future. That time has arrived a little sooner than most fans expected -- as of right now, the little guys can be purchased in the Penny Arcade store for $34.99.

Even better, we've got one here at Massively to share with a lucky reader! All you need to do is leave a comment telling us why you should be the winner. Tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. EDT, we'll go through the entries, choose the best one, and mail Charrlie the Charr to the winner right away.

I will shave and subsequently dye my cat to have a similar mohawk to the Charr pictured above if I can get my hands on Charrlie!

Because I didn't get one of the ten at the GW2 panel at PAX. Also, I'm steadfast in my quest to see Aura of the Lich be reverted to its former glory after it's nerf on December 11th 2008. The fact I have that date burned into my mind should prove my loyalty and raging fanboism.

Because I'm currently a college student who has adored the Guild Wars franchise and has played the games from the start of its release in 2005. I don't have the ability to travel to any of the shows and see their booths with AMAZING live demos and schwag that they give out there. But if I had this, I could at least satisfy my addiction to this game and all things GW2. Although I don't think my addiction can ever be satisfied. Even when the game is released I will still want to play it more and more, despite the lack of time to devote to GW2. This is literally the only game I have ever cared about. Every time I hangout with my gamer friends I try to convert them to GW2, and as more info has leaked I think I have them converted from their WOW playing ways haha.

I LOVE THIS GAME, and.... CHARR RULEZ!!!!

My lovely daughter is nearly 2 years old. She's dangerously close to being able to adequately play a LotRO Hunter. I think this would be just the trick to get her into GW2 and playing a Charr Warrior instead!

I'm calling him George because i'm going to hug him, kiss him and possibly sleep with him to protect him from thieving bookah hands.

My daughter will be born around October 27th and I think that this would make an awesome first stuffed animal.

I should win it so I can convince my wife to play GW2 with me when it comes out. Gaming plushies win her over every time, just ask Gryphon Hatchling and Windrider Cub.

This is one of those competitions where I'm mightily glad to live in Europe.

I will give him to my Nephew in hopes that he will be as excited for Guild Wars 2 as I am.

To be the proud keeper of Charrlie would be such an honor!
