My friends and I enjoyed this so much when it first launched on steam, now none of us play it at all.

without spending money, you can only play for a very short time per day, I was ok with this. Then I realized crafting required more energy than a free player could accrue at maximum. in short, the only way I could craft new gear for myself was spending VERY regular cash.

It's so restrictive it's criminal, I'm fairly confident playing this game properly would cost you much more than even an eve sub.

It's a real shame too, since the gameplay is genuinely fun, old school action dungeon crawling.

@Azules

Yeah crafting sorta killed this game for me too, since I love crafting.

I know that you can spend in game money to buy energy from other players to craft ...... but that really doesn't take the sting out of it.
