Pick out your favorite grind spots, adventurers (and tradeskillers too, for that matter), as Sony Online Entertainment is trotting out an EverQuest II double experience weekend starting on Friday, September 2nd. The XP smorgasbord will end on Monday, September 5th, so if you've got no plans for the Labor Day weekend as of yet, why not spend a portion of it in Norrath?
It's as good a time as any to check out the new itemization revamp that debuted with the recent GU 61 patch, and don't forget that the bonus applies to alternate advancement experience as well. More details are available via EQ2Wire and the official EQII website.

I can think of a lot of reasons not to spend the weekend in Norrath ;)!
Not that I have any idea what "Labor Day" is, some American thing I assume? Remember Massively, we're not all American!
Have a good weekend wherever you are :)!

@Seffrid It is a day to celebrate the contributions of organized labor's contributions to American life. Not that many Americans think my about why they are getting this 3 day weekend. Try telling some of them "Happy Holidays" in December on the other hand and you can expect a lecture.

@Furdinand
Thanks for the explanation. We have a similar thing in the UK on "May Day", the first Monday in May. I suppose a few trade unionists go on a pointless march somewhere and hold a rally in Hyde Park or some such place, the rest of us are simply grateful for an extra day off work! It hasn't been a public holiday for that many years, and it means we have a lot of public holidays concentrated in a few weeks which seems rather silly.
