Yea yea , Isengard is next step towards p2w journey from Turbine.

We already know that playing a creep , you can buy skills of higher rank.
You can be rank 0 and buy a skill from rank 14 no problemo as long as you use item shop.
Not to mention nice p2w items for creeps. Fear, stun immunity , leg break immunity after you fall from height , speed bosts, etc

Will be interesting to see final Isengard shop for Freeps, I am seeign many store-only relics, finesse boosts (or permanent increases) , few new tiers on stat tomes in item shop and many more.

Turbine never had much love for pvp so why not completely screw it up and get some dollars while doing it, they seem to be quite good at doing that.

But honestly playing lotro for its pvp is like playing say darkfall for its pve it just doesn't fit turbine's version of LotR, don't get me wrong the LotR lore would be perfect for a pvp centered mmo.

I've gotten a few emails from codemasters, when i played lotro. Most of them were for the events. Now i get constant spam from turbine for their item shop. Thats never a good sign, and instant turn off to go back :). I sence they will destroy the game with their greed, and soon.

Yeah, but I'm not sure how MUCH love it's getting, compared to the other classes. I think Turbine is more or less right in saying the class is pretty good right now, but I'm worried that with changes to the other classes that it's ability to maintain threat will be at risk. The minute you're being out-threatted, the class is utterly useless.

True, true. But all they really need to do is pump the damage a bit and make sure that our threat-munching power stays in tune with other class changes. Then we'll be Super-Mega-Awesome instead of just Mega-Awesome. :D
