I'll sign up and pre-order the moment they announce V'Ger is a max level raid boss at the time of release.

It's kind of a tough line though, between science and science fiction.
Will there be aliens?

@BigAndShiny

Who knows? Since it's basically a training simulator, they may or may not put in such a training exercise into the MMO.

Will it be entirely accurate? Will a cutting of the NASA budget cripple the space program and keep you grounded for the entire game?

I wonder what NASA will do without a shuttle program...

@InkSix Turns out the Russians have won the space race after all.

@Daemodand Yeah, for like a week, if that. A soyuz capsule crashed into the space station and they might evacuate it. The shuttle was formally retired from service today.

@InkSix Something less stupid than the shuttle, one would hope.

Anyone else find the concept of a 5-24 age group... puzzling? I mean who wakes up on their 25th birthday saying, "I shall no longer be into what the 5-year-olds are playing." Are they shooting for a "people with no children" audience? Cause that doesn't really make sense from a marketing perspective.

@SpeedLazer Spore, for all its disappointing outcome, still turned out to be a good example of a game for 5-24, I think. Very low barrier of entry with gameplay that can scale up very high if you're capable of it.

Maybe it involves a lot of texting astronauts on different planets and not figuring out how budget cuts affect your next fiscal year expenditures; or maybe they'll use monosyllabic words. :)

Even if it's not for my age group, I'm still interested. Well, until the first griefer vents me out the airlock for the lulz before I've sealed my suit. /ragequit
