Some people have been saying how MMOs these days are getting too easy and there's no penalty for dying. Well, there you have it: players who play poorly and get their characters killed are forced to watched advertisements.

The temptation is too great to kill people off more for extra dollars. I'd be okay with advertising if they only showed ads in cases where you barely survived instead.

Advert Antagonizing? Sooo, you die and they are rewarded with an advertisement screen you are waiting to go away so you can get back to the game??

Evil Corp X "Oh hey! Our revenues are down this month. Lets up the player death quota more so they little drones will see more of our adds and up our profits" - insert manic laughter.

I know that an ad would be best thing in the world to see while feeling completely angry I just died. That would so totally make me want to buy something. Anything, really.
