pvp is loaded with CC and most classes have only 1 way out with a few minute CD followed by the chaining of stuns that will wreck a person, the cover system is insanely IMBA at this point and in no certain tersm is there anything new / exciting / creative about the current PVP in this build. In fact its sad to see them attempt it, reminds me of thier PATHETIC attempt to create space combat.
Just think its a game that lacks the quality of RP brought on by games like ME2 and lacks even the basic things found in all MMOS, so essentially people will pay a subscription to play KOTOR3 mashed with faxion and none of them are AAA quality.

@(Unverified) you can't chain CC on a player in SW:TOR at all because of the resolve system so what exactly are you gibbering about ?

spastic animations, static turn-based combat, zero innovation.

This looked about to be as I expected, but looks fun and fairly polished nonetheless.

Maybe just because it was from the playview of a sorcery, it actually kinda reminded me of Global Agenda more than WoW. Kinda suprised by that.

This is exactly what I expected.

That is to say, a pure WoW clone through and through.

So...

Why are people excited about this again?

I don't get it either. Make no mistake, I am probably the last person on this site to throw hate around (my past comments will tell you) on games besides maybe Allods & DCUO, but Im just not seeing the draw here. I've watched vids on this game, upwards of 5 hours of Game footage, and ask the same question.

Now I probably would'nt go as far as calling it a WoW clone, but still.

Ehh, I hate to hit you in the face with the cold water of reality here, chief, but you obviously never watched or read a single thing about GW2, or are just trolling...because 1 aspect of a game is remotely similar to another makes no difference on the overall gameplay experience. Its like saying if a Mustang GT500 has round wheels, my 1987 Datsun is just as cool, amazing, and fast....So PvP is like Aion, we care? Guess what the better game is surely going to be...

Originality is pretty much the staple in GW2. Toss out another game that does what it does, and as good as it does, and im sure people will begin to take you seriously on this blog, and not insult you at every corner.

sigh....its obvious you're trolling now. I'd waste time roasting on you like Apakal, and almost everyone else on this site who don't take you seriously, but the Three Stooges are on TV, so I gotta bail.

Keep up the good work...

5v5 is tournament. pick up and play is usually 10v10, or as many as numbers permit.
wvwvw while having a central keep has many other points for control, such as disturbing supply lines and resource point, destroying seige equipment and assaulting a worlds own territory.
and lets not forget the main selling point for me and many others too, no pvp gear grind.
even though i haven't played aion i have no doubt they copied certain aspects of aion, but have refined them to a new level. From the people i have talked to, they said pvp was far more enjoyable in Aion then the standard fare.. Aion fails in other areas

Very similar to WoW's battlegrounds. The only thing that got me is the fact that when someone dies their body disappears. What's up with that? Its instantaneous.

Didn't see anything new here and the primary player didn't look like he had every played an MMO before.

Overall, TOR, meh.
