If you're not in Turbine's Rise of Isengard beta, A Casual Stroll to Mordor has some Gamescom screen caps you might be interested in seeing. Even if you are in the testing phase for Lord of the Rings Online's next expansion, it's worth a look-see if only to glimpse a few things you might've missed.
The screens were captured on a cell phone camera, so the quality isn't worth writing home about, but they do show off an early version of the Isengard map as well as new wound pots, Forthbrond Village, a portion of the Gap of Rohan, the tower of Orthanc, and Saruman impaled on a giant spike just like in the movies! OK, just kidding about that last part, but it was funny seeing you lore-monkeys twitch.

That's a pretty small map.

Yeah the areas are a letdown in size. I would not call them 3 new areas, more like 1 area and a quarter.

Is that supposed to be a map of Isengard from ingame? If so it is disappointing looking and does not really resemble the type of maps they use ingame.
I agree it looks small and if Isengard does not have at least as much content and area as Moria then it will be a letdown in a way. People complain about Moria even nowadays when they do their alt grind, but I loved Moria for the vastness of it and the amount and variety of areas to explore.

@Ryukan
That's basically what I was thinking, that map looks like it was made with Window's Paint. I honestly hope that is just a rough draft.

Lotro is about to have a backlash from its older players this thread only started a few days ago and his lit up with angry players feeling ripped off at the lack of content in Isengard never mind the fact as an expansion costing 30 to 40 dollars will have no new instances.
