What I want to know is when they're going to add opera glasses and day vision goggles to the cash shop.

Next up CCP brings you a videogame your avatar can play in his captain quarters , so you can play a videogame and control your avatar while he/she plays a videogame!

While waiting for FPS Level 5 to complete training ( 5 more weeks OMG can't wait!)

fail ccp. if your next move was to make a fully supported casino, you would win everyone back and then some. Or any room that would facilitate social interactions with your playerbase in meaningful ways. for that matter

instead you want to expand on your useless rooma that no one cares about.

When CCP says "establishments," this is what they're talking about.

@Kalex716

you honestly thought that CQ was going to be one ever-expanding, single-occupancy room? you're kidding right?

I'm no stranger to slamming CCP, but after reading that I actually felt really sorry for them.

They are struggling to create a high flying idea. And they're failing badly to deliver. I'm sure it's not entirely easy to bolt on avatars to a ancient codebase that wasn't designed to have them from the beginning. And I'm sure their devs are working hard. They've been talking about this stuff for years, but now is actually first time someone has tried to do anything about it - and they've just realized how hard it is.

Incarna (and especially CQ) is still light on actual gameplay, it's just a character model tech demo. Nothing else. If the interactive bits and the actual gameplay doesn't materialize soon people might get a bit cross with them again. They can't keep promising and not delivering forever.

@SgtBaker1234556 The problem is - they have literally used Incarna as an excuse for years now - to not put more resources toward such areas as Faction Warfare, further T3 expansion, Bounty Hunting, expanding manufacturing etc. The bread and butter of game play. Instead they've gone with a 3d non-spaceship environment that is going to take years to develop and is iffy as best in regards to current player base interest.

Announcing a re-skins of the Minne CQ is just so very ... weak.

I'm so tired of the whole Incarna concept, like you said, they've been yammering about it for such a long time - I just want them to deliver it and get over it so we can get back to getting EVE, the spaceship game, expansions.

Then I might even resub.

As long as I can keep it turned off, I don't care what they do with incanra.

I have the CQ disabled because it is a Minmatar CQ. I can't deal with the bad smell and all that duck tape holding the door closed.

I don't really get it... how many people are working on incarna? 1 half-time intern? They are literally announcing that they were working, for months, on A SINGLE ROOM.

And what are the other developers working on? Considering that incarna has been given as a reason for not working on other stuff for the last 5 years?

And don't start with the "old codebase yada yada" excuses, because 1) after the first CQ all the code is there, only need to add models. Oh and there is absolutely nothing in the current implementation that needs server-side support anyway, it's a non-interactive, single-player, tech demo at best.

@Unverfied B

Most of the CCP developers are working on DustLOL and the Twilight MMO. There is a small handful of devs working on Eve and the current state of the game shows it.
