have to admit, I'm impressed... tons of in-game footage instead of pre-rendered FMV makes it all the better because you know that the awesome moves you see will be things characters can do!

Could you possibly be more fanboyish? Can some people, you know, actually want to play both games? It's not a frakking war, you know.

Yeah, tell this game isn't nearing a beta announcement. It looks more polished than half the "finished" MMORPGs I've played.

@j1083

Agreed. I've seen games in OB, even released games that arent as fluid, or polished as this.

@j1083 It looks polished, yes, but that's because they're not using a development model that leaves the polish off until the very end. You can get a bit more insight by reading here: http://guildwars.incgamers.com/blog/comments/when-its-ready-arenanet-blog

Yep. That's what I'm talking about.

GW2 and SWTOR.

Goodbye RIFT. Take care.

Not really fixed.

I'd play WoW again before going back to RIFT. I like originals much more than copies.

WoW will still be there (and probably still top 1 nÂș of subs) long after RIFT has become a distant memory...

I wouldn't...

@Fabius Bile

...yes, we all know how you feel about RIFT. And you seem at every opportunity to spam and troll your displeasure with it...yeah we get it already.

So let's talk about Guild Wars 2 instead of derailing this thread...which I'll admit I took part in with my ill conceived /fixing of real65rcncom ill conceived RIFT dig.

@Utakata if swtor and gw2 take 2 millions subscribers from wow (each) wow can still be number one for a long time. (and that is a very big if)

if swtor and gw2 take 300k subscribers from rift (between the 2 of them) rift will really really hurt. (and that is kinda likely)

games don't really have to worry about the 500 pound gorilla, they should beware about the 500 one pound spider monkeys.

Although I am quite willing to concieve (and have done for sometime) what impact GW2 and SWTOR will have on RIFT. As well as I am open to discourse about it because it's an important issue for that game despite its current apparent success. However, I am not willing to entertain discourse with individuals who have only shown unreasonable malice and disregard for whatever reason towards the game. (Perhaps one of RIFT's devs called their mother a funny name or something.) It's no more productive than arguing "WoW is dying crowd" during the general forums during Vanilla. It's simply a waste of time....since haters are going to hate type of deal. So let's not feed them. Kay?

As for losing $200 mil sub from a 500 ibs gorilla, let's not forget it's 500 lbs gorilla owner Bobby Kotick. Thus losing 200 mill to GW2 & SWOTOR would likely be far more devastating to Blizz when this 500 lbs gorilla goes on a rampage. And I suspect they'll lose more than 200 mill, since they have other issues outside those games mentioned sitting it's horizons. But there you go.
