Don't worry overmuch about it. The new hotness always looks a little better simply by virtue of being new even if it isn't actually objectively better or more fun. Fortunately, the effect is temporary. It'll probably be FOTM for a while and then people will get used to it and forget about it and we'll be back to normal.

@Ghostspeaker

True. I've already "forgotten" about Kinetic Melee. I'll probably play it again (though I'll need some sort of inspiration to make a new character before I do), but it held its glamour once I started using it for all of about 2 days.

All this suggests to me is that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, Eliot. Dead serious. You honestly cannot have a clue what you're talking about.

Time Manipulation is easily one of the overall weaker Support sets in the game, especially when compared to Cold Domination, Dark Miasma, Traps, Thermal Radiation, and Kinetics to name just a few. Even Radiation Emission.

You said "Why play Kinetics when you can get most of the same effects from Temporal Manipulation and more besides?". Why, you ask?

Speed Boost is superior to both Chrono Shift and Temporal Selection for ease of use and overall effect. NOTHING Time Manipulation offers can even remotely compare to Fulcrum Shift, THE most powerful buff in the game. Siphon Speed is BETTER than Chrono Shift for self +Recharge. Transfusion and Transference are BEYOND superior to Chrono Shift and Temporal Mending.

Kinetics ALONE destroys Time Manipulation in everything but MAYBE as a soloing set, and even then Fulcrum Shift gives you such an insane +DMG steroid that I can forgive the 'safety' Time brings.

Yeah. I'm sorry. Please do your research again.
