It's great that they're launching so many titles, I just hope that each game has their own unique gameplay and that it's not just the same game with different models and different terrain.

Firstly:

"Humans always needed to conquer the elements -- earth, water and air."

They missed out fire. I predict World of Firefighters. Or World of Flamethrowers. Or maybe those could be the two factions.

Second:

It's a pity I can only trade resources between them, and not bomb shipping lanes with some 1337 torpedo bombers.

@Dril
That would make me interested enough to play these games.
During my time in WoT beta I can only recall endlessly being frustrated by long range artillery blowing me away before I could even spot them.
I'm looking forward to WoWP. though I've yet to find a good naval game to scratch that particular itch with.

I think it's more along the lines of "We will fight them on the land, on the sea and in the air"

Too bad they aren't doing that thing EVE is doing. Planes bombing tanks, you know.

@Danteeeee

You'd think they would of just made this all one game to begin with. I'll be honest, WoT isn't interesting and isn't worth paying any money to. You sit in a limited lobby and then join in a small battle that has no effect on anything and then do it again and again and again......

Now if they had simply done World Battle and had tanks, boats, planes, soldiers all on the same battlefields with territories you could control and resources. They might of actually had a game. Instead they are working towards having 3 non games.

@AnotherPint

And WW2 Online, beautiful and impressive though it is from a technical perspective, is an utter failure, due primarily to the fact that the player base is about 1/100th of what it needs to be to make an open world game like that work. Wargaming.net have the right idea; start small, set up arena games to build your player base, then maybe -- MAYBE -- you can start looking at a "world simulator."

It's easy to say "they should all work together." Actually doing it is several orders of magnitude more difficult.

If they combine all of these games into one clan warfare system then it would be rather epic.

Excellent. World of Tanks is a lot of fun, I hope this one turns out just as good.

I'm starting to think they are just taking any random military idea and turning it into a combat game. Hopefully they are putting some quality into these and not just throwing things out.

Combining them all into one big war game would be awesome though.

@Joshua Przygocki
Well, World of Tanks is highly polished, has pretty steady releases, which have been free, with a very balanced cash shop system, and they made a fuck ton of money on it. They're constantly tweaking it and the balance is pretty good.

World of Planes or whatever it's called, requires an entirely new engine, but I am assuming it's gonna be good considering how well world of Tank was done.

With this in mind, I have no doubts that World of BS will be pretty fun. I just hope it's not JUST battleships and we can get aircraft carriers, submarines, destroyers, torp boats, etc...

Their first title is considered unbalanced by many (including independent reviewers) and is very seriously repetitive. Many consider it very basically a pay-to-win title. It has nice graphics I'll say but then today that should be a given. I'm not impressed by how they're trying to pump out more similar titles so rapidly when the original title seems to have basic flaws they seem to have no great interest in addressing.
