Keep it all.

Quit with the dumbing down and reducing content, and while we're at it let's bring back the sorely missed original tutorial isles!

I am with Seffrid. Every word of it.

You can take the lotto from EQ2 when you pry it from my cold dead fingers.

Nuke everything except heroic opportunities.

HO's reward group teamwork. Everything else on the list is a distraction.

Keep it all. Trust the intelligence and maturity of your players and don't infantilize them.

There is no reason whatsoever to take content out of a game. Just make it worth doing again.

I think DeepSleeper has the most rational answer so far. Keep it all (maybe nuke the arenas), but tweak and buff and, as you said with the HOs, revamp.

With the Scrying Stones, I'd either make more of them or increase the yield. I'm actually on a quest which uses them, it's a quest-qith a quest-within a quest type thing, where you're helping out a debt-ridden gnome in the Steppes in order to complete a quest for the investigator in Nek by the lake up north. I've had it for literally years and still not completed it because I just forget it's there, and also run out of stones and the whole thing is a total drag. *That* quest alone I would totally overhaul.
